Water Treatment Plant
Process

1.Reservoir water Pumping raw water from natural water sources then sampling and analysis water.

2.Coagulation & Flocculation Adjusting quality of raw water by mixing with liquid aluminum sulfate (alum) and/or Cao .then Adjusting pH.The groups of dirt particles then join to form larger, heavier particles called flocs, which are easier to remove by settling or filtration.

3.Sedimentation Water move into sedimentation tanks then the heavy floc particles to settle to the bottom ,it is called sludge and is piped to drying lagoons.

4.Filtration Removing floc by using dual media filter. Water passes through media with moderately smaller pores. Anthracite exudes out the largest molecules. Next layer removes particles with the help of adhesion and straining combination feature of sand and garnet.

5.Disinfection Disinfect by adding chlorine in appropriate ratio and do not effect to human.

6.Quality Testing Water quality testing ,temperature, pH, turbidity, salinity, nitrates and phosphates.

7.Clear Water Tank Releasing water from a tank or pumping water into the water supply system to increase the water pressure. Allowing the water to be delivered to residents widely.
